Thanks for visiting my website, hope you will enjoy what you see! My name is Yke (prounounced "eee-kuh")and I live in The Netherlands. I started customizing a few years ago, in 2001. I began working with the Kelly dolls because they are so tiny and cute and they have so many possibilities. But recently I decided to try to customize larger dolls too. I do total facial repaints and I like doing fancy hairdos on my girls. My favorite outfits are the glamourous ones. Usually I knit them myself and add lots of beading, another passion of mine. I went to the first IFDC (International Fashion Doll Makeover Convention) in Dallas, Texas (summer 2003) and was amazed by all the talent that I saw there. And I am proud to say that three of my dolls won second place in the competition at the convention and one of them won first place. I also attended the IFDC 2nd Annual convention in Dallas, June 2004. I hope I will have enough inspiration to keep on making OOAK dolls and I hope you will check back often to see what is new.
